Chromebook Distribution and Technology Support

Garfield STEM Magnet is continuing to assist families with Chromebook distribution and support throughout remote learning.  If you are experiencing issues with your assigned Chromebook and think that you may need a replacement, please contact the APS Service Desk (505-830-8080) to set-up an appointment to return the originally issued device and receive a replacement.  Garfield STEM Magnet will no longer be handing out replacement devices to families!

Families who would like to use a Chromebook at home will be asked to complete a Student Check-Out Loan Agreement form (available in English and Spanish), and will be provided with an Equipment Receipt when they receive the Chromebook:

  • Student Check-Out Loan Agreement - This agreement contains language necessary for parent(s) to accept responsibility of the school Chromebook.
  • Equipment Receipt - This document contains legal information and the APS student internet acceptable use policy concerning the use of school property at home.

Finally, students and families will receive a Chrome How-To document, which will address several issues, including:

  • Getting started
  • Login instructions
  • Links to online resources
  • QR codes
  • Contact information for the APS Service Desk, and more!
