Community Schools focus on the integration of academics, health and social services, and youth, family and community engagement, and development, as a strategy to improve student learning and facilitate stronger families and healthier communities.

MaCS
The Magnet and Community School (MaCS) Council is utilized for family and community engagement with regard to school event planning meetings, parent meetings, educational workshops, leadership communication, and collaboration. To make the center a safe, accessible, and welcoming environment among families to promote multicultural education and improve communication throughout the year.
